Steven, I trust you are not implying that Peter wrote the patches single
handedly? Various others contributed patches that have since been
included in the unified patches. I myself contributed the cursor support
and a text handling fix which were included.

I've just noticed that the unified patch doesn't appear to include any
proper fixes for the keyboard support. Several different keyboard patches
have been posted to this list with different aims in mind: I myself
posted a solution months ago that would give support for the entire
keyboard from an intel architecture box. Not only does this fix various
problems with caps lock and num lock but it all makes every single key on
the PC keyboard, including the windows and menu keys, work correctly (only
tested on a NT 4 server).

Peter, was this a deliberate ommission, or an oversight? If the former,
let me know why so I can rework the patch. I think this is a very
important fix and really ought to be included. If the latter you'll find
the patch on http://ziggy.fitz.cam.ac.uk/

I'm afraid to say I've not had much time to play around with rdesktop
lately and haven't yet tried any of Peter's unified patches, as I've been
distracted trying to port it to java, but I will endeavour to give
it a go in the near future.

Regards,
Ben.
