RE: newbie questions
rdesktop Status -
rdesktop will "Connect" to a 2000TS (Terminal Server).
The 2000TS gives a license to the connecting client, however, the 2000TS
does not associate a computer name with that license at the Terminal
Server.
Diagnostics of the code sent from 2000TS has not been complete, mainly the
graphics are not being interpretted correctly.
No dates or estimates are availble to when support for 2000TS will be
complete.
We are all eagerly waiting 2000TS support. From those who are gifted in
this way.
Patiently waiting too,
Steven Deines

Subject: newbie questions
Hello,
I'm a Linux user tired to have to reboot the system under Windows to read
MS
Word documents people sent to me by email (;-) so I' very impatient do see
rdesktop working with Windows 2000 Terminal Server (sorry, I don't have NT4
TS).
I know rdesktop is planned to support Windows 2000 server in the future.
I'd
like to know if actually this support is actively developed or not.
Moreover
I heard Microsoft is releasing to the developers the specification for the
Windows 2000 Terminal Server protocol: do you already got this?
Regards
