unified patches not working

I've tried applying the unified patches from
http://bibl4.oru.se/projects/rdesktop/ to rdesktop, and it stops
working. The pixmaps in the logon screen are all mangled, and once I
logon, it just crashes. So now I can't use a patched rdesktop, because I
can't seem to find the older patches. I'm assuming this has to do with
me using terminal server from NT4? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
