ok :\ mail me again with a new patch if you get it to work :) good luck.Just after I sent you the delayed update patch I thought I had seen a new problem, but it turned out to be an old one, so I stick by the patch I sent you this morning.
The problem I saw:
If you pull down a menu in Netscape6 and then rapidly move the cursor left and right in the menu bar the screen is messed up, menu parts remaining on the screen and parts of the current menu missing. Other applications do not have this problem. I think the reason is that Netscape6 pulls down a new menu before the old one is rolled up, while most other applications don't. In Netscape6 this causes a lot of overlapping pixmaps painted and restored.
Regarding w2k:
If you turn "Show window contents while dragging" on in ControlPanel->Display->Effects w2k looks pretty good. If on pixmaps are painted while dragging a window, if off the outlines are drawn and apparently with a different method than in NT4. This should give a clue on how to fix the problem.
Regards,
Svenni.
