In almost every program where I can draw a line by dragging it around,
it will leave artifacts all over the screen where I dragged it. The most
annoying is Visio, because I'm forced to use it on almost a daily basis
just recently. Actually, in visio the problem seems to be that while you
drag anything around, the screen updates get messed up. Like it draws
the object in its new position, but does not erase the old one. Then
when you release the mouse button, it refreshes the area in the bounding
box of the object you were dragging / drawing, but all the artifacts
left outside that box remain on the screen. They go away when you
refresh the window (by minimizing / maximizing, for example).
Does anyone else have similar problems? Does anyone know what might
cause them? A similar problem occurs in MS Project, rendering it almost
useless.
Thanks again,
Eric
