Autologon

I am trying to auto log on to a Windows 2000 Terminal service session from
rdesktop 1.1.0s7 running on Solaris 8. When I use the -u and -p options,
only the username parameter is passed on and the password parameter remains
blank. This worked when I set up a W2K server in the lab but does not seem
to work in a production environment.
Is this something with W2K not accepting clear text passwords ?
Additionally, how do you work autologon with accounts that do not have
passwords?
