RE: rdesktop and licensing...??

Hi!

You have not to license rdesktop ;)
But surely you need for every M$ product an "Client access license" (or
something like that)
So as well for a client witch tries to access an M$ server via rdesktop!
But you have to discuss this with you local M$ partner ;)

Bye!

Subject: rdesktop and licensing...??

How do you go about licensing rdesktop on Linux/Irix/OSX?

We have found that the license only lasts 90 days then when you try to
run
rdesktop it will kick you off immediately. When you install Terminal
Services
Client on a Win2K machine a license is installed as well. This is of
course
not the case with rdesktop.

It looks like we will have to buy a serperate license for each rdesktop
machine and install it on the server. Is there a way for license
rdesktop on
the local machine?

Cheers
